  1. The office of the Fairboard and Secretary will be on the fairgrounds during the entire fair. Supervision will be vested in them.

  2. THE CASSIA COUNTY FAIRBOARD WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCUR TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY. PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN TO PREVENT ACCIDENT OR LOSS. THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR DOCTOR, HOSPITAL OR OTHER BILLS UNLESS CONTRACTED OR APPROVED BY THE BOARD.

  3. Commercial building spaces are available to local businesses after July 10, 2001.
    Spaces may be rented by outside businesses. Rent will be paid to the Fairboard
    Treasurer. Sales will be made by contract with deliveries outside the building.
    Commercial building top awards will be rosettes.

  4. The fairgrounds will be open Saturday, August 11th, for booth and display work. The 4-H/Open Class Building will be open Monday, August 11th from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM for decorating booths.

  5. Food booths and refreshment stands, will be neat in appearance, and supply clean, wholesome food at reasonable charges. Food booths must have a food service license, available through the South Central District Health Department in Burley prior to the Fair.

  6. Garbage receptacles will be placed conveniently for the use of concessionaires and the public.

  7. Due to traffic congestion, we recommend that all deliveries of merchandise and supplies are made by 10:00 AM. Soliciting will not be allowed.

  8. No license will be issued for the vending of confetti, return balls, squawkers, etc. Balloons may be peddled by licensed salespersons.

  9. The posting or distribution of handbills or advertising materials is prohibited except from licensed booths.

  10. Exhibitors and concessionaires must prepare, decorate, and maintain their own booths and stands. The Fairboard cannot provide either materials or labor for the preparing or the decorating of booths or stands.

  11. No license will be granted to any gambling device or any immoral show or exhibition. Any concessionaire who violates any law of the State of Idaho or any regulation of the fair shall forfeit his license and his booth will be closed. No part of the money paid for his license will be returned.

  12. Exhibitors will give special attention to exhibits as required, and will take charge of the exhibits at the close of the fair.

  13. Exhibits must bear the entry tags given to them by the clerk when entered. Animal entry tags will be attached to the pen, stall, or coop.

  14. Exhibits will be restricted to: 1) agriculture, home economics and miscellaneous projects by bonafide 4-H members or FFA students; 2) open class exhibition of crops and garden produce; 3) open class flower exhibits; 4) open class home economics exhibits; 5) open class ceramics exhibits; 6) open class art.

  15. Exhibits in the 4-H/Open Class Home Economics, Art and Flower Show Buildings MUST remain until 8:30 AM on Sunday, August 19th, when they are released. Exhibits may also be picked up Monday, August 20th, from 8:30-11:00 AM, in the 4-H/Open Class Building. Other building exhibit removal time by the exhibit superintendents and Fairboard. Check with the superintendent check-in for specific exhibit removal information. ANY EXHIBITS NOT
    BY THE DEADLINE WILL BE LEFT IN AN UNGUARDED BUILDING AND WILL N RESPONSIBILITY OF CASSIA COUNTY FAIR PERSONNEL If items are removed the 4-H/Open Class Building prior to 8:30 AM on Sunday, August 19th, will be revoked and superintendents will have the right to bar the exhibitor future participation in the Cassia County Fair.

  16. A complete record book must be exhibited with all 4-H/FFA projects.

  17. Awards will be made on merit alone. Any premiums may be awarded or withheld. The decision of the judges concerning merit is final.

  18. The possession of a ribbon does not entitle the holder to premiums. are given only upon the signed records of the judges, as indicated in the Fair Book

  19. Premiums earned by exhibitors will not be recorded and paid to the unless premium information is turned into the 4-H Office in the 4-H/O Building at the close of judging by the division superintendent.

  20. Disrespect shown to any award or judge by the exhibitor means the of all awards made to the offending exhibitor.

  21. Ribbon awards will be as follows: FLAT RIBBONS - blue, 1st place; red, 2nd place white, 3rd place; green or rainbow, participation or honorable mention. ROSETTES (one streamer) "top of group" -- blue, 1st premium; red, 2nd premium; yellow, 3rd premium; ROSETTES (three streamers) "champions" - blue, 1st place; red, 2nd place; white, 3rd place.

  23. Complaints should be written, and submitted to a Fairboard member.
    4-HIFFA complaints to the Extension Office.
